Software Engineer

PureWellness is a Software as a Service (SaaS) web company focused on Wellness and Disease Prevention. We are looking for a Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience who will work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand requirements and design solutions for our markets. This is an onsite position in South Burlington, Vermont. No remote candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform full life-cycle development, including design, coding, testing, and technical documentation
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality levels and project/user specifications
  • Work in a team environment
  • Support ongoing issues with the released product

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience and/or Bachelors Degree in relevant field

Required Skills:

  • Strong Programming and Web Development Skills in the following technologies:
    • ASP.Net (C#)
    • ASP (VBScript)
    • Javascript
    • HTML/CSS
    • XML
  • Microsoft SQL Server:
    • Transact-SQL, complex SQL, stored procedures
    • SQL-Server Reporting Services
  • Visual Studio 2008
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple projects in a team setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Additional Desirable Skills:

  • Phone, Droid and BlackBerry development
  • Desktop Application Development (.Net / C#)
  • Microsoft Certification (MCP for any .NET area)
  • Healthcare Experience
